After a week of generally positive spirits following a close loss to the Seattle in Week 12, the Titans came crashing back down to earth (or more accurately purgatory) in a 25-3 beatdown at the hands of the Jacksonville Jaguars. The offense’s whiplash-inducing halt in this game brought the excitement level surrounding what little young stars that Tennessee has to root for plummeting back to reality.

Cam Ward followed up his stellar performance last week with a dud, both rookie receivers struggled mightily, the offensive line woes continued, and the Titans’ run game somehow continues to look more lifeless by the week. However, amidst all of the misery, one rookie has provided rare stability in the opportunities given to him.
