NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Two 0-3 football teams playing poor offensive football in the first half led to a lackluster 6-0 game. But the Texans' offense figured it out during the second half, and the Titans never did. So they swallowed a 26-0 loss.

Both teams played competitive defensive football.

The Titans were led by Jeffrey Simmons, who played like a superstar Sunday, but the most impressive thing to watch is how hard he plays. He is chasing plays down the line of scrimmage and downfield and doesn’t seem to get tired.  Simmons played 66 out of the possible 71 defensive plays. He s is a player who is trying to win a game.

The Titans’ defense holding up so long was even more impressive because the time of possession was heavily sided with the Texans. The Texans held the ball for 38 minutes to the Titans' 21.
