NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- One of the concerns about Brian Callahan's first-year staff was the lack of significant experience beyond his father, Bill Calahan, as offensive line coach.
He's alleviating some of that by adding Mike McCoy, who was head coach of the Chargers from 2013-16, to his staff as senior offensive assistant. McCoy brings the Titans some additional play-calling experience.

The two worked together on the staffs of Josh McDaniels and John Fox in Denver from 2010-2012.
For the last three seasons, McCoy was quarterbacks coach for Doug Pederson and the Jaguars. He will join Callahan, offensive coordinator Nick Holz, who also came from Jacksonville, quarterbacks coach Bo Hardegree and Bill Callahan as the primary offensive brain trust for the Titans.
The Titans fielded the 27th-best scoring offense in the league with 18.3 points per game in 2024, while averaging 304.2 total yards (26th), 109.1 rushing yards (18th) and 195.1 passing yards (27th). The Titans were 30th in the NFL with a -0.12 EPA on offense.
McCoy's Chargers were 27-37 with one playoff appearance and one playoff win.
He was offensive coordinator in Denver in 2012 with Peyton Manning when the team was first in yards and second in points.
