NASHVILLE, Tenn. – While the Chargers have a new front office and head coach, they are a good example of a team that had very good personnel before a changeover. They simply struggled to find a coach who could lead the team.

Now they have a leader and a head coach in Jim Harbaugh who has a history of winning on the pro and college level. That figurehead combined with a talented roster is why this team is 5-3 and second in the AFC West in a transition year.

The Chargers' roster and especially their offense is built through the draft.

They have 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 first-rounders starting on offense, and 2016 and 2017 first-rounders starting on defense.
