NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Titans' efforts to fortify their offensive line will start with Dan Moore. The Steelers left tackle is slated to sign with Tennessee on Wednesday per ESPN.

I had the Titans' primary interest in tackles as Dan Moore and Jaylon Moore, and Jaylon Moore struck a quick deal to move from San Francisco to Kansas City. (For others I think are on their radar, head here.)

Dan Moore gets a reported four-year deal worth $82 million with $50 million guaranteed and $30 million in 2025. The Titans intend to play him at left tackle and shift JC Latham to the right side.

Moore was a fourth-round pick out of Texas A&M in 2021. Though he hasn’t been terrific throughout his career, he’s coming off his best season.

The Athletic says he “has allowed the most sacks (34) and pressures (181) since entering the NFL” in 66 starts. Upside? He scored 20.7 points better overall and 24.1 points better in pass blocking in Pro Football Focus grading in 2024 than Nicholas Petit-Frere and he’s just 26.

He’s listed as 6-foot-5 and 315 pounds.

“Upgrade over NPF,” said former Titans scout and PK.com contributor Blake Beddingfield. “Also gives the Titans flexibility to move JC Latham to right. Moore is coming into his prime years. They paid the market price but got a starter and avoided having to select another high-round tackle. Not an all-star type player but he can be a solid starter in the league.

“The one question mark that I can’t answer is, why did the Steelers draft two players in first round in 2023 (Broderick Jones) and 2024 (Troy Fautanu) to replace him?  Best player available or just not trusting him in that role or preparing for his pending free agency?"

I've heard the Steelers like Moore, viewing him as a solid and dependable throwback type. They just planned to dedicate their resources elsewhere after Fatanu fell to them a year ago.
