After suffering yet another suffocating loss to the Indianapolis Colts, the Titans have fallen to 1-7 on the season. As Tennessee’s year continues its downward spiral, the Titans’ once-feared run game has become just another rusted cog in a wildly dysfunctional machine.

While running back Tony Pollard isn’t necessarily at fault for the sputtering run game, he also fails to elevate the unit as a whole.

With Tennessee’s trading of both Jarvis Brownlee Jr. and now Roger McCreary, it’s hard not to get the impression that a fire sale is imminent during the upcoming NFL trade deadline. If this fire sale happens, Pollard is poised to be one of the top candidates to be dealt from the Titans’ roster.
