The evaluation of Will Levis continued on Sunday as the Titans hosted the Vikings at Nissan Stadium. The young quarterback played his best game of the 2024 season, in my estimation. The second-year signal-caller went 17 of 31 for 295 yards (9.5 yards per attempt) and a touchdown, with one interception coming on a late, desperation drive.
The yardage represented a season-high and the second-best single-game output of his career. Yes, the 98-yard touchdown to Nick Westbrook-Ikhine helps boost those numbers, but even if you remove that massive play from the equation, the 197 remaining passing yards would still be Levis’ second-best outing of the year.
That says as much about his early-season struggles as anything, but the fact that steps have been taken while playing two top-10 defenses by DVOA the last couple of weeks feels meaningful. That doesn’t mean it’s time to build the Will Levis statue outside of New Nissan Stadium, but it’s something to keep an eye on as the Titans trudge toward the finish line of a rough season.
