NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Powering from the quarterback’s left, Dorance Armstrong forced a JC Latham retreat. That was Will Levis’ biggest problem on first-and-10 from the 50 at Northwest Stadium late in the first half of Sunday's loss. His left tackle had nearly stepped on his left foot and was about to hit him.
Levis dipped under that trouble and managed three cautious steps left preparing for contact before Frankie Luvu, who’d got off Daniel Brunskill, caught him and dropped him for a 1-yard sack.
It wasn’t a deadly play for Levis – the Titans wound up driving for a touchdown on that series. However, while Levis has made strides in four games since returning from his shoulder injury, one of the areas that remains the biggest concern is his pocket awareness, and the sack illustrates the ongoing issue.
