NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Titans have hired former Raiders general manager Dave Ziegler as assistant general manager under Mike Borgonzi.
Ziegler worked for the Broncos and Patriots before his two-year term in Las Vegas from 2022-2023 and was with the Saints in 2024.

While they’ve not worked together, Borgonzi’s known Ziegler from around the league for a long time.
In Las Vegas, Ziegler said he had final say over personnel while working with Josh McDaniels.
The team traded its first and second picks in 2022 to Green Bay for receiver Davante Adams. After two years and three games, Adams was traded by Ziegler's replacement, Tom Telesco, to the Jets for a conditional third-round pick that could have turned into a second but did not.
In 2023 the team selected edge Tyree Wilson from Texas Tech seventh overall. Tyree has started just four games through two seasons with eight sacks. In 2024 he rated 120th in pass rushing among edges at PFF.
The Raiders drafted record-breaking Brock Bowers at tight end in the first round a year after taking Michael Mayer out of Notre Dame in the second round in Ziegler's final year.
Fourth-round quarterback Aidan O'Connell from 2023 has an 85.1 passer rating with 20 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. The team is 7-10 when he starts.
Ziegler replaces Anthony Robinson, who was hired as one of two assistant general managers in 2023 by Ran Carthon. The other, Chad Brinker, hopped over Carthon to become the Titans president of football operations in 2023, and took on final authority on all football matters when Carthon was fired on Jan. 7.
Robinson was fired the same day.
