NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Titans view the Houston Texans as a major divisional rival, but right now, they should see them as a model for fixing their issues.  

Three seasons ago in 2022, the Texans were a franchise with minimal talent, led at quarterback by Davis Mills. The roster was riddled with aging veterans on one-year contracts with limited upside.  A draft day coup in 2023 secured them the offensive (CJ Stroud) and defensive (Will Anderson) rookies of the year, an explosive playmaker in receiver Tank Dell and multiple starters and significant contributors like Juice Scruggs, Dylan Horton, Henry To’oTo’o and Jarrett Patterson all from one draft.

The next season they acquired pass rushers Denico Autry and Danielle Hunter, along with Pro-Bowl receiver Stefon Diggs and running back Joe Mixon.
