NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Titans are in a position to potentially draft a quarterback in the first round of the 2022 draft. If the right player is there and has the value of a potential franchise QB this would be a good year to make this move.

The team needs a future replacement for Ryan Tannehill, who struggled in the playoffs two years in a row and who will be 34 years old before the 2022 season.

A franchise quarterback is a player who makes other offensive players around him better and can carry a team to wins and offensive success without all-star caliber players at critical positions.
