NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tracy Rocker watched T’Vondre Sweat take on a sled with minimal surface area to handle as a linemate swiped his from the right side with a big pad, and he popped off “his man” to the left. The coach offered some corrections before the Titans' mammoth defensive tackle tried it again. He did it again, with the hit coming from the right.

Both men seemed more satisfied.

It was a minor adjustment, not obvious to this untrained eye. But it’s a good thing that before Sweat's even played in his first preseason game little things like those are the focus.

I watched Sweat closely at Thursday’s practice, his last before he and the Titans make their preseason debut Saturday evening at Nissan Stadium. This video of what I could get during the time we were allowed to film doesn’t include Rocker’s corrections, just the action:
