One year after the Titans' cornerback room collapsed, Mike Borgonzi has completely rebuilt it around three players who fit exactly what Robert Saleh wants to do defensively.

The dismantling of the position room happened quickly. In late September, the Titans traded young starter Jarvis Brownlee to the New York Jets after an undisciplined start to the season and a clear philosophical disconnect with the new regime. A few weeks later, L'Jarius Sneed's calamitous Nashville tenure ended with yet another season-ending quadricep injury before he was released after the season. At the trade deadline, Borgonzi completed the overhaul by dealing nickel corner Roger McCreary to the Rams.
