NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Calvin Ridley took less money to stay with the Titans.
The receiver was due a $19.24 million base salary and a $2 million roster bonus with a $26.45 salary cap hit.
I've learned that in his revised deal, his cap hit is trimmed by about $11 million. With the reduction in cash, he got incentives to earn some of it back.
Specifics could come out as soon as today, as the contract is filed.
After a 64-catch, 1,017-yard season in 2024, Ridley managed just 17 for 303 in 2025, suffering a season-ending broken right leg on Nov. 16, 2024, against the Texans.
He had developed quicker camp chemistry with Cam Ward than he did a year earlier with Will Levis, but his season started show again. In seven games, he broke 30 receiving yards just twice, with 57 against the Rams and 131 in Arizona.
While he will be 32 before the season ends, the Titans have determined his speed and dynamic ability can still be a feature for their receiving corps.
Ridley still ranks at the top of the group, which right now would start him and Chim Dike outside, with free-agent addition Wan'Dale Robinson in the slot. Elic Ayomanor, Bryce Oliver, Mason Kinsey and Xavier Restrepo compose the depth.
The Titans will very likely add to the group in the draft.
