NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Titans play-caller and outside linebackers coach Shane Bowen was put into COVID-19 protocol Saturday morning and didn’t travel with the team to Minnesota.
Tennessee’s defense struggled but the Titans managed a 31-30 win and moved to 3-0.

“We’ve followed all the protocols as it relates to COVID,” Mike Vrabel said. “We’re not into timetables as it relates to returns to play or returns to play or coach.”

Defensive assistant Matt Edwards handled outside linebackers, Vrabel called defensive plays and special teams coach Craig Aukerman had a headset to handle some Vrabel responsibilities if and when Vrabel weas preoccupied with the defense.
