A heavier run game, fewer Cam Ward passes and an offensive line allowed to play to its strengths gave Tennessee a formula worth carrying forward.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Week Two versus the Eagles looked bleak after the dismal showing in against the Jets, but the Titans played 60 minutes with fight, competitiveness and energy that lasted until the final snap.

This is a game that the Titans can build off because of the competitive game that they created.  The Eagles held a decisive lead in yards, offensive plays and time of possession but could not separate from the Titans on the scoreboard.

Why Brian Daboll's Game Plan Worked Better for Cam Ward

The success from this game started with the offensive game plan. In their first game, the Titans called 39 pass plays and only 10 rushes for the RBs. Sunday, Cam Ward only attempted 22 passes to go with 25 rushes from their running backs.
