Less than two months ago, Gray was listed behind fellow second-year linebacker James Williams on the team's depth chart. Williams, drafted 136 picks after Gray in the 2024 NFL Draft, had out-snapped Gray in their rookie season as well, playing 111 defensive snaps, plus another 264 special teams snaps – good for third most among all Titans in 2024 – while Gray notched just 48 defensive snaps and 126 on special teams.
