NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Cam Ward and the Titans offense are regressing.

The Titans offense has zero playmakers and the conservative play calling only highlights the lack of playmakers. Ward continues to show poor mechanics that are only amplified the further he throws the ball downfield.

Something has to give with the play calling. Either challenge Ward to make plays by pushing more throws downfield to loosen up the underneath routes and run game or focus heavily on getting the ball in the hands of the more consistent producers on offense.

Ward is struggling to find his touch on deep throws. His arm slot when he drops it down pushes the ball high and away from his target instead of dropping it down to the receiver. Ward must find that deep ball accuracy if this offense is going to evolve.
