NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Titans were competitive for a half of football. Their defense played well in the first half and gave the team a chance to win, but the team struggled to make adjustments and keep up with the Rams' offense that doubled their yardage output in the second half of the game.

Cam Ward was in control and playing well, giving this team a true bright spot on offense. The pass rush was too much for the woeful Titans' offensive line to handle for four quarters. Pivotal players like Calvin Ridley just haven’t stepped up to be the playmaker the team paid him to be.

The only touchdown in two games for the Titans was a miracle throw and catch. The Titans' offense must do more. It had a solid run game with Tony Pollard averaging 4.6 yards per run and totalling 92 yards on the ground. The issues again were protecting the quarterback and conversely affecting the opponent's QB -- the only sack for the Titans was a safety blitz by Amani Hooker. The Rams are not known for having a standout offensive line, but the Titans' rushers had very little pressure and impact.
