NASHVILLE, Tenn. – No team’s quick passing game was quicker than the Titans in Week Two.
 
NextGen Stats categorizes throws made in under 2.5 seconds. Of Cam Ward'
s 33 dropbacks in Sunday’s loss to the Rams, 20 of those qualified, and he got rid of the ball on those in an average of 1.73 seconds.

Remarkably, he still faced four pressures, and a 20 percent pressure rate -- but at least he wasn’t sacked. His completion percentage was up, as he hit 13 of 20 passes. But that 65.0 completion percentage was -6.4 percent less than expected. 
 
The Titans gained only 99 yards, 5 yards per attempt.
 
An offense we are told is built on timing hasn’t seemed to function in a very timely fashion, and the short game, which seems to be a key element of that, isn’t working well.
