NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Sunday’s game features two new head coaches, front offices and young quarterbacks. With the Titans and Patriots struggling and neither looking like a contender, they are destined to pick in the top five of the 2025 draft, and they will be compared in how they handle their rebuilds.
At the most important position on an NFL roster, the Patriots currently seem happy with their rookie QB Drake Maye, whereas the Titans’ confidence in Will Levis has taken a hit in his unproductive and injured second season. Successes for either team moving forward will depend on quarterback and how the teams are built around the signal callers.
Right now, the Titans have better offensive personnel around their QB. Receivers Calvin Ridley and Tyler Boyd, running back Tony Pollard, first-round left tackle JC Latham, left guard Peter Skoronski and top free-agent center Lloyd Cushenberry are a solid core to continue to build around on the offensive side of the ball.
