Vic Beasley will be off NFI, on the Titans' 53-man roster

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Jadeveon Clowney’s fate is still very much up in the air. We don’t know when he fired Bus Cook as he agent and when the clock started on a five-day waiting period before he can hire a replacement, reportedly Kennard McGuire.

Cook can waive the five-day wait. Clowney can negotiate a deal without an agent.Beasley3

Meanwhile, the Titans cut D’Andre Walker in a surprise reported by @JustinM_NFL.

That’s made partly possible by the fact that Vic Beasley will come off the Non-Football Injury list and be part of the 53-man roster, the first official version of which we will learn by 3 p.m. CT.

Derick Roberson is also in and we know Harold Landry and Kamalei Correa will be heavily in the mix.

The Titans ended last season with four outside linebackers. With both Beasley and Roberson coming off injuries, Wyatt Ray’s fate will be interesting. He could be the fifth and we haven’t seen anything about his fate yet.

Beasley being in the 53 doesn't mean he will be active in Denver on Sept. 14. On Thursday he worked on a side field with Mike Vrabel. It was the first work he's done since reporting to camp 10 days late after an unexcused absence.

The Titans signed him to a $9.5 million guaranteed contract. The absence cost him $500,000 in mandatory fines.
