NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A path to studier pass protection for Will Levis and safer dropbacks for the second-year quarterback entails more help on the edge for the right tackle.

I heard this week from a friend with another team who reviewed the Titans’ loss to the Packers and was surprised that Nicholas Petit-Frere didn’t get more consistent chips from tight ends, backs and receivers. That’s got to be part of what the Titans try as they look for NPF to settle down after two terrible performances or if they turn to Jaelyn Duncan as a replacement or rotational piece at the spot.

On the other side, JC Latham has had some bad moments, but has progressed nicely overall and is not a big concern overall.

He aims to become an elite tackle, the sort who can erase a pass rusher coming from his side and eliminate concerns for the coaching staff as they plan protection.
