NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nickel. Big Nickel. Dime. Big dime. Penny.

How about quarter? Half dollar? Canadian loonie?

I exaggerate, of course.

But after the Titans signed Quandre Diggs, they have as many as eight defensive backs they might like to be involved in the defense. And they’ll only be using five in nickel and six in dime.

That list:

Cornerbacks L’Jarius Sneed, Chidobe Awuzie, Roger McCreary, Jarvis Brownlee

Safeties Diggs, Amani Hooker, Jamal Adams, Elijah Molden

Is there any risk of the Titans' defense over-packaging?
